The week in dinners

Im sure this is boring for most readers, but Im doing it more for me. I am getting CSA boxes and want to make sure we are getting the most for our money and breaking out of my recipe rut. Kitchen witchery isnt something Im super great at, I can make a handful of dishes ok, but nothing great and I havent made anything new in ages. So Im tackling some new recipes this week in order to use all the veggies we were delivered.

TUES: Roasted Pork loin with Red Cabbage
And Celery root mash 

WEDS: Im going to use chard and make Pasta with chard, shittake and butternut squash

THURS: Its my birthday, Im going out

FRI: Cobb Salad and Red lentil squash curry soup

SAT: Leek, bacon and Pea risotto

SUN: Quesadillas with the following black radish slaw recipe
This could also be good without the cabbage.

2-3 black Spanish radishes, scrubbed and grated
3 cups finely shredded cabbage
1 cup coarsely grated carrots, any color
1/2 cup thinly sliced green or red onion
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley, cilantro, or mint leaves

In a bowl toss together the radishes, the cabbage, the carrots, the onion, the lemon juice, the sugar, the oil, the herb, and salt and pepper to taste.

That should use up all the veggies. We will eat the satsumas, oranges and kiwi for snacks!
